BAD Internet Laws Heading Your Way
I'm not sure how meaningful this is for me to be posting, given I'm in a country which the US government only sometimes remembers exists, but for anyone reading this that is from the US and hasn't head about this one yet, some screaming at your representatives would be much appreciated. :)

Off to WorldCon
I really do never post here do I.
Anyway, I'm off to the WorldCon in under a week. I'm not sure what it's going to be like really. I mean I've been to plenty of New Zealand national SF cons, but there is a bit of a difference between under 200 people, and over 2,000. Giant Monsters Attack DHS
So I've been playing Monsterpocalypse for a while, and enjoyed it. We've got a small but active community for it here in Wellington based out of Wargames Supply with regular tourneys (which for some reason that defines modern science I've been doing very well in) and generally it's been fun.

Off on a Trip
Well, I set out early tomorrow on a 2 week holiday in the United States of America. I'm not sure what it says that my biggest fear is the TSA doing something for some random reason.

Job!
Well, it's now into the second week, so I'm finally believing it's happened.
I have joined the ranks of the employed, with a job as a Programmer at Datacom, one of New Zealand's largest software development companies. Classic 'friend of a friend' situation to get to the interview, but the interviews went well, and I'm not employed there with my ( Read more... ) -
