Ah yes the workout... I took a break from the eliptical for about a week. I still walked during break time at work and when I got home at night so I didn't quit completely. However with the cold yesterday and the light snow this morning I thought it best to get back on ole trusty for 30mins til the weather goes back to warm. My weight loss is

I did the maths last night and discovered that I need to aim to lose about 2.5 stone. (That translates to about 35 lbs, or 15Kg, roughly.)
I've confirmed that the recumbant bike is indeed a bike and available ... once the snow departs (it lives on our balcony! Mite bit chilly out there yet!), and Mom's agreed to go walking with me in the evenings, so long as I don't try power-walking. *cough* (This is ME, so I don't think she needs to really worry about that somehow :P) She draws the line at jogging with me though, so I'll be on my own once I work up to that!
