So this online group of friends that I have (some are in local wards here, but a lot live in other states) is doing ann exercise challenge to see who can exercise the most minutes in the month of April. I told you I wasn't very good at this. ;) I'll try to do better. What a month it was! I'll start at the end since it was just yesterday. All of the baseball and kickball games were canceled because of major storms we had Friday night that dumped 3 inches of rain on average in most places. I was sort of relieved. What a week. I'm so glad it's almost over and have the weekend to look forward to. I finally too Megan to the doctor yesterday and it turns out she does have a bladder infection. I am not surprised. Her temp was still up into the 103 range, but of course, when you go to the doctor your symptoms mysteriously disappear so her temp was only 100.3 ( Read more... )

Not fun. I've had a deep cough since Saturday, but I don't think I've ever felt as sick as I did yesterday. I came home from taking the older kids to school and I felt cold. When I saw the news story about the shooter at Trolley Square it really broke my heart. I don't know why it hit me so hard, maybe I'm just over-emotional for some reason right now or maybe it was the fact that it was in Salt Lake that made the tears come. Well, yesterday my van starting "steaming" or "smoking" from under the hood. Not good, right? It wasn't very much so it doesn't seem like it's a big deal. We've figured out what it is, we think.
