The idea of del.icio.us closing makes me really, really unhappy.

I mean, I went and made a backup, but it's convenient, dammit! And I hate having hundreds of unsorted webpages in my browser bookmarks.

People who say Jane Austen wrote female wish-fulfillment stories/collections of examples on how to get married hurt my brain. They hurt my brain so much I am unable to even answer to this.

In other words, no, I haven't forgotten how to blog. I've forgotten how to think. I think.

One of the most useless ways of time-killing and emotion-dumping is to go read some new entries of a blogger you know is annoying and to get annoyed.

Do you think a writer's blogging and his/her writing are necessarily similar? I mean, I know at least several cases where I enjoy reading someone's blog but not her writing (and at least one case where reading someone's blog played a big role in my decrease of interest for her books, but this is a bit different ( Read more... )

Oh god. I just read about anjenue. I didn't know her at all, but I friended her LJ as I started reading Prince of Tennis fics, and I also read how she wrote about her job, and her students, and her plans... She seemed like a really sweet person. She was only 25. Such things are so unimaginable.

Valentine's day in Russian blogosphere is a funny thing. About one third of the bloggers congratulate all their nearest and dearest and wish all the best to all their flist; and another third starts flashmobs about this holiday being non-Russian, discriminatory towards single people and just generally annoying.

Sometimes I think the worst effect blogging has on me is the need to share every conclusion that comes to my head in hope to have it properly appreciated.
