You were perhaps the best man for this job, and handled even the most cringe-worthy questions very well.

I think you should know this was helpful even for some of us who get the communication and respect parts. While most of this was "well, duh!" for me, I'm such a n00b to bondage the info that handcuffs or silk could be dangerous is news to me. I had an impression for a long time going from handcuffs and silk, into ropes and leather cuffs and locks was to make it more hardcore, now I need to rethink that.

Seriously, I’m torn between feeling embarrassed for the interviewer and you as the interviewee. I mean, I get what the interviewer is trying to do. I applaud his efforts. I think he (the interviewer) is trying too hard to generalize as people getting their kink on is a very personal experience. There is no generalizing here. You can’t tell a huge blog site full of men do this, this way, and you’ll get your perfect sub, slave, satisfied girlfriend, wife or whatever and that’s where this interview took a hard left for me. You keep hammering the same point over and over. Which is a valid point. Yeah the truth is a bitch ain’t it? Bottom line ( ... )
