so most people told me that work would be overwhelming. WHATEVER. okay, so it is. bleh. i don't feel like i have any free time anymore. i'm very angry today. i'm not sure why. i've been trying to rationalize how i feel, to stop being in such a bad mood, but it's not working. i feel like a lot of this is stemming from work. and it's all going to ( Read more... )

I know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to work. But as long as you don't have any huge bills like college or a car or something, don't overdo it, you know? It's not a good idea to get burnt out so early on. It's almost like it makes you bitter later on. Take it easy and don't bite off more than you can chew.

And about the God thing...if anything, feel lucky that you were never raised with a specific religion. I know from experience that that makes believing ANYTHING else a lot harder because it's almost like you've been brainwashed from birth. There's still lots of time to change your mind and even if you don't--as long as you're happy and a good person, what's the problem?--you know?

I don't know how long you've been in the TCG world, but I've been doing it ever since 2003 when it really started to explode...All these years and I CAN'T go online without being in some way involved with TCGs, even if it's just stalking them and seeing which ones come up with cool little ideas. ^_^

AH! I talkededed so much. Bye! =D

yeah .. I think tomorrow I'm going to request, PLEASE, 2 or 4 days a week .. with a big space in between. I'm thinking a Sunday-Monday-Friday-Saturday schedule. I'm not sure if my boss will let me be this specific, but JEEBUS. I'm working 5 days this week (at least I've got tuesday and thursday free? >.>). Keep in mind I am *not* someone who is used to work. XD ( ... )

2-4 days sounds perfect. When I started working (which was in August of '06--and I remember because I bought my domain the same month lol), I did just that. 2-4 days, no more, and that was more than enough money ( ... )

hmm .. That does it! I'll request that number of days when I get in to work tomorrow. :3

Is it really that great? XD I should be more appreciative of him, I know, his type is quite rare .. but sometimes it can make me feel so .. small. And insignificant. And ignorant. And other adjectives similar to those. :x ahh What am I saying. I love the guy. XD

That's probably the aspect of Christianity that just makes me dislike it .. How it spread so fast, through brainwashing and forcing other people to believe, and ruining other smaller religions in the process .. @__@ ah, But I don't know the whole story. That's just my impression. *shrug*

Wesley would probably love to ask your friend questions. Solely out of curiosity, too. XD

OMG I HAVE TO SHOW YOU THIS. Her TCG list is INSANE. Now, whether or not she actively participates in all of them, I don't know, but MAN! That's such a huge number! I commend her for her abilities! XD I picked random TCGs to look through, and it seems like she participates actively .. *impressed beyond belief ( ... )

I know, I'm a little late with this.. but I'm always angry at work. People are STUPID and you can't save them from your stupidity. You can't even save yourself from their stupidity. >_< My job involves minor tech support.. dear gods my head is going to ASPLODE from the stupidity some days.

You know, with religion, I've tried to believe what other people do and I figure, why not just do your own thing? It's better than trying to fit into a peg and do what others are doing. I can't do that. I like being able to believe in the flying spaghetti monster if I wish. :D

LOL I like "you can't save them from your stupidity." haha. XD And man. I seriously could not not not work a job like that. @__@ Hey! You and Tyna from DS! have the same ish job. XD

The thing is, as far as humans have progressed in this world, what you're doing, the way you're living now, it probably has a name, whether it be individual existentialism or humanistic determinism (my philosophy class is over like next week lmao). And why would you believe in something that doesn't make sense to you, right? Why believe there's a flying spaghetti monster if you see no evidence of one, if it doesn't matter, in general, if it exists? XD

That's the only problem with it. I don't know what I believe in, what my own thing is. I don't want to make a whimsical choice. I don't even really want to make a choice, but what would make me ignorant, wouldn't it? bleh, These are the kinds of questions having a boyfriend like the one I have poses on me. @__@ (he doesn't pose them, i do .. geh ..)

I meant to type "their", sorry. :P Well, I can't save some of the people from my lack of Mac knowledge...

You know, I don't think it means that you are ignorant if you don't make a choice. You really don't have to. I like believing in many gods because I can't understand how there can only be one. And I'm a science girl.. minus the believe in ghosts thing. Heh. Being ignorant is just not knowing. You know things about stuff, right? And you are open minded? Then you aren't ignorant.

I don't get something. LJ won't let me edit my own comments even though no one replied to it yet wtfff >o

My creative writing teacher, whom I respect, considers those who are ignorant to be those who know they don't know something, and choose not to do anything about it. I guess I feel so guilty because for a large part of my life, I was Atheist and ridiculed other religions because I didn't believe in them. It's five times as wrong, though, because I didn't understand them. I didn't even know what I was rejecting. @__@ It was just the thought of blindly putting your faith in something with almost no ounce of proof that made me so skeptical .. *shrugs ( ... )
