Oh my god. Tonight's episode was sooo full of *GASP* moments, I think I actually hyperventilated a little at the end there.

Finished Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen - and it was quite excellent! A very interesting twist at the end.. You go through almost the entire book expecting one thing to happen, and then it turns around and something entirely different happens. I can't say any more, otherwise I'd spoil the book for anyone who wants to read it..

Slept most of the day today... barely even got out of bed, except for occasionally to use the loo and eat. I just plain didn't have the energy to do anything, or anything worth doing. Merlin slept next to me, only getting up occasionally to play. We had a very cat day.

So today it snowed properly for the first time all winter.. and there's a possibility that the schools will be closed tomorrow! Dear god I hope they will, because I still have a couple essays to write..

Only a short post tonight before I seek sleep. Much has been going on, but not really much to report. Mostly just dogged, exhausting work and a horrible cold on top of that. I really do hate winter - I always get sick and my lips chap horribly. All of my skin dries out, really - even my knuckles are starting to crack. Definite lotion attack tonight ( Read more... )

Still sick. Feeling congested and still have a sore throat. Back is feeling better, but my arm is mysteriously hurting. For no reason I can possibly fathom. Am slightly freaked out, because it's kind of throbbing in the spot where I got my flu shot yonks ago.. Slept fitfully. Am exhausted.
