Living in Toronto

Aug 17, 2010 12:17

This is a late posting, but I went out to chill with some friends a few weeks ago during the civics holiday long weekend down on harbourfront at the urban beach.

It was such nice weather and just the perfect day to be at the beach.

I really wish I could get to see Toronto. Every time I got stuck in the airport on a long stopover, I wished to be able to just go out an explore but I don't. *sigh* Maybe next time I can schedule an overnight stopover.

Ah, Toronto is so beautiful at night, especially in downtown! Next time you come to Toronto, you should let me or Freedom know so we can take you out! =)

Btw, how have you been? I haven't heard from you in ages! Hope you're still doing good and staying strong. ♥ Sorry I haven't been commenting much, I've been really busy with school and life. =(

See, normally it's early morning like 7am when I get there and everyone is working or whatever and I only get between 6-8hrs stopover time, so it just seems like a waste to try and call on people. But next time I'll try to get a night out of it. :3

I've been okay. Am pretty much jobless now since I quit my job and it's stressful not having money but hopefully things go well. How are you? I don't blame you for not commenting. I haven't been around either but hopefully I'm back now.

Oh, I see. Toronto isn't so beautiful during the day. Well, I guess that also depends where you are also. lol.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN! I was jobless for about 2 months just awhile ago and I just recently returned back to my part-time job last week! It is definitely horrible not having money at all and all you could do is watch your bank account $ go down each and everyday. I'm so glad that period is over now and I can start making money again. Well, only for another 3 weeks because I will soon have to leave my job again when school starts in September. =( Other than that, I'm just trying to enjoy the rest of my summer by going out with some friends I haven't seen for a long time. I hope you find a new and better job soon! =)

Did you have the iPhone app where you can translate the minions dialogue at the end of the movie? haha. If I had an iPhone, I'd totally go back to AMC to watch the movie again... :P

There is an app for that? I don't have a iPhone but I have a iTouch. I actually found the movie okay but it wasn't as exciting as I have anticipated it to be. lol.

if you put it like that, then I think I'm quite a romantic friend. HAHA. I've told my friends my plans of wanting to watch the New Year's sunrise at the beach.. (haha, totally stolen off ProDai) but they were quick to turn down my idea saying how it's too romantic. AND I also planned to get my friends to get together to write letters to each other and then bury them and then open the letters up in 10 years time.. but they also turned down that idea cos they're planning on doing that with their future husbands. LOL.

and the pictures of Toronto look really nice! those pictures inspire me to actually use my neglected camera. maybe next time, I'll take pictures when I go out, LOL.

LOL. That would be soooooooo romantic! I love ProDai. Why aren't your friends doing it? That's the whole purpose of high school life! Forget about doing it with their future husbands...DO IT WITH YOUR BELOVED FRIENDS. I love how realistic ProDai is. A lot of people complain about its simplicity and plain and repetitive boring storyline and how Kenzo could've confessed to Rei LONG ago and get it over with. But THAT'S what makes the drama real...that life is full of failures like Kenzo. Not only did ProDai focus on childhood love but also valuable high school friendship! I loved the things that the 5 of them did together. Trashing the science room on their last day of high school, Kenzo presenting Rei and Eri the flowers and the message card at the baseball field, them burying their most previous and memorable thing underneath the tree in school. Everything was so real and is just like what high school life is suppose to be and what it is to be YOUNG AND YOUTHFUL. I totally wished I did that during my high school days because that would ( ... )

my friends aren't doing anything I suggest because they think I'm a hopeless romantic LOL. I want to do these things so there'd be a way to meet up for a reunion at least once in our lives. but I shall work on the convincing! LOL.

I LOVED PRODAI. well, I still do.. LOL. I love how when all five of them were together, they always seemed to have fun. it also inspired me in all the ways possible- like I have to live my life to the fullest because I don't have Hallelujah chance to take me back XD now that I think about it, I really miss ProDai :( I can't believe it's already been 3 years since it aired.. time sure flies D;

I'm really scared of leaving school. I've been seeing my friends for 5 days a week for over 6 years, and the thought of going on different career paths is just so.. daunting. but at the same time, I want to grow up because I always feel so helpless when I'm underage.

you can always do something with your friends now! it can also be an excuse to get together with everyone XD
