Should I feel like Beethoven or something?

*sigh of relief* I spent all afternoon composing. How many people on earth can say that?! YEAH. Thought so. But now I'm all set for my composition "audition". It's really just a review of my pieces and explaining technical stuff about it.

Dude, this is serious music, like classical music here. I'm excited!

There's no real way up post the sheet music ( Read more... )

wow thank you...wanted to hear you. the choir think sounds a bit weird but still very clear to me how it would sound with a real choir in a good room. I love the deep low mans voices. (like the opera "flying dutchman".

the piano think sounds nice, for me a little bit too happy. bit baroque-ish or not? (not that good in classical music). Like the variation from beginning to end.

Aw thanks! Yeah, the way the computer generates the choir isn't that good. :P Mmhm, the bass has such a rich sound! I love choirs.

Yeah, I went with a more classical theme with the piano piece. Haha, yeah, I usually write less happy pieces. :P I love writing in minor chords.

Thanks for listnening!

:-O Tooting your own horn are we! :P. Nah, congrats man, really. Takes a lot of work. I WOULD KNOW I'm well reknown in southern Italy for various works such as, "Gandolf the Great" "Gandolf Goes to Hollywood" and "Gandolf Does Taxes" All very emotional peices.

:D Thanks man! DUDE. You must send me a recording of "Gandolf Does Taxes"! I read the reviews in the NY Times and was gaping to see such amazing comments! ...Even though I know you wrote it for extinct do do birds and adolescent gnomes wearing the color green walking backwards, you better get that thing recorded. :P

The first sounds beautiful to me (as beautiful as MIDIs can sound anyway ;). The piano piece makes me think of 18th-century rose gardens or something. Lovely!

Glad you dig. ^^

And yeah...it went really well. It wasn't so much an audition as them talking about what classes to take. *shrugs* They seemed amazed I even brought in music peices. Haha, oh well.
