I just finished my first day of college.
The fifth floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. library is Nirvana. Can I just say that now? I've never seen so many music scores, books on music, or recorded music right there for me to see or hear. RIGHT THERE.

People fit themselves into their own pocket of stereotypes so easily. Music major types? Socially awkward, clueless. Band geek continuation, socially. That is the stereotype that I have noticed, anyways. Thankfully they're not stuck up, though. Really down to earth and nice, it seems. Me? Hardly socially awkward. :P

*sigh of relief* I spent all afternoon composing. How many people on earth can say that?! YEAH. Thought so. But now I'm all set for my composition "audition". It's really just a review of my pieces and explaining technical stuff about it.

The outside is so utterly beautiful. We have extensive deck space at home that I'm going to miss at college. I'm sitting in the shade in a deck chair, my trusty laptop here with me.
