Ivy. You have a degree and could make alot of money doing something else, so why do you put up with it all?

Because I have a degree in freaking education, which I do not want to use at the risk of losing myself to my job. And why don't I do something else to make more money and stop putting up with all this? Because I don't want a career unless it's writing, which means that I have to have a job that keeps me fed, clothed, and sheltered while I work on it. It can take a long time, and I imagine there's a lot I'll have to put up with before I can live that particular dream. . . .
