Double rainbow

I've been a big fan of the Gregory Brothers lately, but that's another story. It is, however, related to how I found this:

Anyway, the Gregory Brothers, among others, made cool parody videos of this guy's video about the double rainbow he encountered in his front yard. I like the songs (and downloaded ( Read more... )

Dude sounds like me. If I saw something like that I'd be like SQUEEE YAY DOUBLE RAINBOW SO PRETTY YAY! *flap flap flap* Which would be my arms flapping.
If I hear a song I LOVE I squee with rapture. If I SO MUCH AS SEE a pretty butterfly or a moth, forget about it.
Hurm, and never mind if I see Dir en grey or Kaoru. It's good to be passionately happy about stuff, man!
Bear seems like my kind of dude.

Eh, I thought that was kinda goofy (seen it before, actually!) but I can see it being amusing in a certain way. :D

Lovely post, Ivy.

That's what the world needs more of. People who can still see the beauty in nature and amazing supposedly small things that are really huge when you think about them, how often are the details glazed over because humans have become hard and unphased by what we think is not special, or not special because they are not children anymore to have that reaction, but everything truly is in a way a miracle, especially nature.
I respect Bear too. And you, for also finding things beautiful. Those who do find appreciation are generally happier souls i think.

This video made me happy! He's so unabashed about being overwhelmed by the rainbows' beauty. I often feel that way about nature, especially when I look at the sky, but most often I just stand and stare. I admire the way he expresses his feelings so freely, whether he's high or not. :0)

Yeah . . . supposedly, though, he is not high at all. That's just how he is about the world! :D

I can almost admire him for being that passionate about something relatively cool, but I have to admit he does kind of give the impression he was partaking of something He-Man and G.I. Joe would frown on. But they're some violent mutherfetchers, so who cares what they say :b

btw, here's another parody, actually a trailer for more cg fantasy fun^^
