A fairly interesting interview about the Beowulf movie.

Gaiman & Avary (the writers) say some intelligent things (or at least standard academic viewpoints) about Beowulf & what they did to the story, which could end up being kind of cool. Sadly, I find myself not caring how intelligently the writers (yay Gaiman!) adapted it - I don't want to see it because the visuals look terrible. Apparently they're using the same motion capture/CGI technique that Zemeckis used for "The Polar Express", and the clip they showed on Spike TV looked like a high-end video game trying to be "300". :(
