Winter hummy
Yesterday, it snowed for the first time this winter. And sure enough, there was my feisty little Anna's hummingbird, dodging the fat snowflakes in a wild zig-zagging flight to get to my feeder. Then he posted himself on my honeysuckle to keep an eye out for competitors. Ain't no kind of weather can take the fight out of my hummy!

About being cool.
One of the greatest freedoms I've granted myself in my geezerdom (41 next month) is that I don't care about being cool anymore.
