Old Houses and Dreams of Times Gone Past.
I love old decrepit houses and dream of someday having one of these tarnished diamonds as my own. My home town has several of these buildings and every time I see one of these old ladies while on a walk through our downtown core I see what could have been or still is in a hazy dream.( Read more... ) -

So not so much with my knitting I found a new book. Add to the fact that the book now has me stuck in a rock mood I'm all music and story right now. Wishing my skills at right were worth a crap. Camden minus bobbles
So I don't know if the color shows very well in the sweater but here is part of what I already have done for the front. It is almost an entire ball of the yarn already in place. Yes I twist my stitches I have yet to figure out what finger movement is causing this it doesn't show up on my circular knitting so I believe it to be my purl. We shall see ( Read more... ) -
Newish Hobbies
So I have been knitting since August 2009. I have noticed a few things about my knitting. While my knitting groups swears I Bleed lace the things that I finish faster than anything else is.... So while freezing my mitts off in Portland, Or. I decided to knit up some gloves and do something that a friend had posted on ravelry.com that they were looking for/needing. So here it is.

Things that I laugh at.
It's not even that big a deal but something that I will laugh at is the summarys that Fanfiction authors create for their stories. Most of the time you can tell where in fanfiction an author got their start... When an author writes (Lemon, Yaoi, Yuri .. Etc.) Than I know that they started out in anime but authors that don't.... Oh Well. -

I was reading a rec page to see if an author group I love was on the list because I decided that i SUDDENLY wanted to read this fic. Now I've read the fic several times since I found it... It's slow updating but every part is worth every wait ( Read more... )
