More bagel shenanigans

Since I've been going to the bagel place at school nearly every day for the past couple of months, I've memorized the price of a bagel with cream cheese. Before the implementation of the HST, the price of a bagel and cream cheese after tax was $2.80, and after the HST, it was $2.89. That is, since July 1st, a bagel and cream cheese after tax has ( Read more... )

Ha ha ha--someone else who BANS things! The only place where you're safe seems to be Starbucks.

I won't get money out of the ATM either--I refuse to pay ridiculous fees. But now the bagel place accepts debit, although I've never used it there. And I bet they charge you for that! Last year, when they had a "cash only" policy, I asked them if they accept UBC cards with money on them (you know what I mean--you put on a certain amount, and use your student ID like a debit card, except it's not debit), and they said no, cash only. WTF?! It's a fucking UBC food services service--why the hell would one of the most popular places in the SUB not accept the ID card?

I think I should finally BAN them as well; I'm so sick of their antics. Even if I don't full out ban them (sometimes, that's the only food option I have, so I really cant ban them), I won't be going there that much in the fall--back to Caffe Perugia it will be! Anyway, I'm now sick of bagels.

Bernoulli's Bagels has got to be the most annoying place on campus. Ugh.

Oh, they are totally overpriced, but I love the women there, and they have not pissed me off!

Except for Starbucks, I pretty much hate every place in the SUB. I mean, there are some places I don't have a problem with, but I don't love them or anything. At least just one more year...
