So much numiness! Except for the mizuna, anyway. Anyone want some mizuna? Also, while the parsley is excellent parsley, I'm not sure I can really use all of it. I guess I can make parsley pesto. Haven't done that in a while. But in the meantime, if you could use some parsley, let me know. Everythig else, though? Wow! Especially those peas ( Read more... )

Ooh, fresh peas. Maybe the vendors at the Arlington Farmer's Market will have some. *ponders*

Your blog inspires me to cook.

I thought I remembered that you had some stew-like recipe involving sweet potatoes, peanuts, and greens, all of which I have and need to use up. Does that ring a bell? I can't find it on your "in the kitchen" blog. Duh, found it!

Link in case anyone else is looking.

Yeah, I haven't put it up because I keep neglecting to get a good picture of it. I may just toss it on even with the bad pic. :)

It came out terrific, btw. The peanut, sweet potato, greens combination worked as I thought it would. (Of course, I made some crazy alterations to the recipe.)

Yay! The recipe as I wrote it contains all sorts of alterations because I always end up doing it a little differently based on what I have, but the framework is a good one. :)

Sure, when?

I think I will use most of it to make pesto as soon as I get some walnuts, but right now I have four bunches so I can spare one even so. :)

You're very welcome and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I really need to put it up on the food blog... You're the third person (including chhotii above) to tell me they've made that dish recently. You'd almost think folks were inundated with greens. ;)
