I don't think I'm going to have my holiday party because the weekend that I wanted to use the parental's house is the same weekend my dad is coming back from a big Wales/South Africa trip. There's a good chance he'll be passed out on the livingroom floor all weekend and tiptoe around the daddy isn't a good party game.

My dad just called and left a vague message about my brother saying "Not sure if you've heard about Matt, just wanted to make sure information travels to everyone in the family" and sounded very concerned and didn't give any detail and scared the shit out of me. I'm pretty jazzed because I'm taking tomorrow off, making this Thursday my Friday before a 4 day weekend. Tomorrow I Bart to SFO to fly to JFK in NY to shuttle to the subway to Jessie. Monday is the bleh. At three I call my agency to see if they can see me after work today so I can be good and proactive and make them pay attention to me even though I'd rather sit at home in front of the t.v.
