Can't even call it a Sunday post since it's Tuesday but I finally got something I can show for the Karate examination Alex and Julian took this weekend so I thought I'd post.  But first, Let me tell you a bit about what happened on Saturday and share some pictures of that too.

Since his birthday, I've been bugging Julian to get me a sample of his art work to post. He finally finished coloring a drawing of one of his characters for his video game so I scanned it.

Well, the ceremony itself was not that exciting so no pictures there, but I told you I was going to post some photos of his uniform so, that, and some snapshots during the group photo on campus since the campus is quite beautiful :)

Yesterday, we took Alex and his friend fishing at a pier in Yokohama.   I woke up at 4:30am to prepare the lunch and we left around 6:15am.  It took around 2 hours to get to Yokohama due to traffic (usually an hour).  Although we got there early, the wind was really strong and there were not many fish around.  The kids fished until 5:30 or so and ( Read more... )

White Day is the counterpart of Valentines Day in Japan.  It is when guys give back presents to the girl(s) they like/love.  White Day was March 12 but the boys and Audrey just did not have any time to make anything for their friend Yuki who brought them some macarones for a late Valentines gift.

Friday was Alex's graduation. He is now finished with JH and with exams and is enjoying himself very much. Entrance and Graduation ceremonies are a big thing over here as many of my friends already know. I didn't enjoy the JH entrance ceremony too much but this graduation ceremony was very nice - mostly because of the music. Out of all the students ( Read more... )

I'm feeling a bit low today.  It may be because I was so busy on Sunday that I didn't get any time to myself.  I'm trying to get the icons prepared for the last review ep and I am really looking forward to showing you those but it's going very slowly and it's time to start on the next review so I'll have to put them asside for now.
