I've been away for TWO WEEKS! *hangs head in shame* I have unfortunately been in one of those slumps where I didn't want to participate in any sns conversation. I have also been awol from Facebook. You may have guessed that my Valentines was not all happy. Hubby and I got into a big row after our Saturday dinner where I kind of went crazy and I am super ashamed that my kids had to witness that. In Japan, Valentines is mostly a girl-gives-to-boy kind of holiday.  The boys give back candies on March 14, which is called White Day.  Alex and Julian used to make chocolates with Audrey when they were younger, but I guess they have been influenced otherwise by their school mates.  I was a  bit surprised that Alex didn't go out with his ( Read more... )

White Day is the counterpart of Valentines Day in Japan.  It is when guys give back presents to the girl(s) they like/love.  White Day was March 12 but the boys and Audrey just did not have any time to make anything for their friend Yuki who brought them some macarones for a late Valentines gift.
