Wow there have been some yummy posts today!
I hope you folks aren't too sick of my supper pics, taken with my dodgy mobile phone camera!
Anyway, don't worry because my holidays are nearly over so I won't have the time to keep flooding this community much longer.

Sprung!

Roughly translates to... store bought! Hehehe.
Ok so I didn't technically 'make' anything. I was just pleased with the way it all went together and how it looked. Just something different to my usual offerings for dinner!

Well anyway, the bukchoy you just thrown in a steamer saucepan, and I boiled the steamboat dumplings (yup, they were from a packet! as were the lotus buns!)and the lotus buns I highly highly recommend steaming. It takes longer that way and they go more sticky, but done in the microwave they are just not the same! All those sauces and soup mixes and the jasmine tea should be easy to find in your local asian grocer's as well.
Mmmmm tea.

Try mixing up soy sauce, sesame oil and red chilli past as a dipping sauce for sweeter things, such as lotus buns. Oh my holy yum.

thanks, it was! i really should learn how to do these things from scratch. i just threw the meal together from ready made things but it was a nice change from our regular dinners.
