Chanukah, Day Three
I found some lovely, colorful rolled beeswax candles this year, which fit perfectly into our menorah. They light in a funny way - the flame always look as if it's going out, as it sinks inside the roll of beeswax, but then it flares up again and burns steadily, with no drips at all ( Read more... ) -

Domestic Snack Swap, Round 1: Texas to Pennsylvania
All I can say is, WOW! I got a big box o' goodies from my snack swap partner, Pegasus436, in Texas. I am now a believer in Texas-sized generosity - look at that big box of cookies, and those bottles of sauce! Snacksters shopping in a cornucopia: the Reading Terminal Market
Today was fun! I needed to buy local foods/snacks for my snacksters swap. My partner is from Texas, so that should be fun. R and I went to the Reading Terminal Market. It's in Center City Philadelphia, which is easy to get to from here - we took a commuter train into the city, which took about 20 minutes. Going to Providence!
...in about an hour, to pick up C's stuff. He is in a play over Commencement/Reunion Weekend - he'll take the train home after that. We'll be home Sunday. Dinner with S and C tomorow! (After packing and hauling....)
