Enjoy. The book I have also has tons of recipes that use ginger ale in them. If I have time I might make them and post them here.

I just want to say too that I absolutely love this community!

I've been wanting to attempt to make my own ginger ale. I've actually seen recipes on the internet where you actually cause fermentation for the carbonation rather than using soda water.

I love Ginger Ale too (an ginger in general) but have avoided drinking it too often because of the sugar, so thank you for posting this!!
I'll definitely try it :D

Peel of half a lemon, or just the zest?

It said lemon peel. I'm assuming it is the lemon peel minus the pithy white underneath.

This sounds delicious, and very helpful for an upset stomach. Does club soda have sugar in it? I wonder if you could use seltzer instead.

No. Club soda is just carbonated water. I'm not sure what the difference is between that and seltzer. On the back of the can it says: Fat 0g, Calories 0g, ect. I know tonic water is similar but has quinine in it.
