Co-incidental, We too had plans for Kanyakumari this Deepavali, but my Dad's tight work schedule made sure it did not come off. We would be to a few places around Krishnagiri and Hosur, though. BTW, are these snaps of the Meenakshi temple?

There is no temple that matches the spledour of meenakshi amman temple .. I remember the last time I was there in madurai, myself and my mom were trying to have a glance of the entire temple, It should be 3 hours and still couldn't go all around the temple.
