Only 15 minutes 'til vacation time! Andy and I took off next week to just relax. I hope to get to do some recording and he's hoping to paint. The weather's supposed to be nice, so I'll probably garden, too. Oh, and I'll set up the Halloween decorations. Hm. I wonder what Merry and Ringo will be for Halloween...

Little Merry gave us quite a scare! She's not out of the woods yet, but she's starting to eat and poo, thank goodness! Hi! Andy and I went to Sunken Meadow State Park on Friday night. We brought sandwiches and had a picnic on the benches. Then we went for a nice walk. Sunken Meadow is neat 'cause there's the Long Island Sound and the beach on one side (on a clear day, you can see to Connecticut) and a freshwater river area and forest on the other side. Hi! Wow - I was excited to see all the interest in my little buns' ceremony! It took Merry and Ringo 9 very long months, but they're (mostly) bonded (they had a fight the other day). Hi! I drove all the way out to my post op appointment in Manhasset (over an hour’s drive in the rush hour traffic). First, the doctor said, “Hi! Bye!” Then he said he’s supposed to do post op checks, but that I’m fine and everything in my tummy is healing nicely.
