So, I guess I've been off the cyber-radar for a few days. I haven't been doing much except worrying and playing video games. I went out with Marci, Allison, Erik and Travis to Larrabee State park before Marci left...I guess that was more than a week ago, but I kept meaning to post pictures. Here's one; it was lovely.

Thimbleberries are ambrosia. I love them so much, they might be my very favorite berry! (I feel like an episode of Strawberry Shortcake, suddenly). They're ripening right now, and walking to and from school, I keep finding them red and succulent and waiting for me. The bush is usually very low yield, and they aren't ripe for more than a few weeks ( Read more... )

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest= teh awesome.

Today, Sara, Katharine, Jessica and I all went to the Scottish Highland Games in Mount Vernon for most of the day. It was neat. I didn't take too many pictures (something unusual for me) but I did take a few. Here's a sampling.
