So, I guess I've been off the cyber-radar for a few days. I haven't been doing much except worrying and playing video games. I went out with Marci, Allison, Erik and Travis to Larrabee State park before Marci left...I guess that was more than a week ago, but I kept meaning to post pictures. Here's one; it was lovely.

A few days ago Brandon, Chiho and I went up to Mt. Baker. It was beautiful; the sun was out, and it was warm, even though there was still snow on the ground.

That was a lot of fun. That same day, I came home and a few hours later we had a little party at Erik and Sean's house. Dustin came over and drank himself stupid. I didn't drink much, but hung out in Erik's room, since I didn't know many people.
The next couple of days after that are a blur, but I watched Lost with Jamie and hung out with Tony and Jessica, and Charlie got back from his roadtrip down south. Yesterday was Charlie's first full day back home, and a lot of it was spent unpacking and playing guitar hero. Of course, once evening rolled around, We started drinking. Dustin and Jamie didn't drink much, but I did. Then again, my quantity of alcohol consumed is miniscule in comparison to Charlie's, Erik's, and Sean's. Sean blacked out and doesn't remember retching in the early hours of morning after he shot-gunned probably ten beers, and Erik was sleeping peacefully until about 2:30, when he vomited all over the bed. That was fun. I slept on the couch.
But the party was so 'excessive' for me, in part, because I FINALLY GOT IT. The thing that I've been waiting for, chewing my nails with nerves and stressing about how little time I have between now and when I leave. I finally got my diploma.
I was so worried about it since it hadn't come that I actually went to the Registrar's office yesterday and asked about it. A woman in the back said, "Oh, they haven't been mailed out yet, they're just sitting here in a box. Let me see if I can find yours." And then she just came out and handed it to me in a little cardboard envelop, all ready to be sent out.
The high lasted for a long time. Now I just have to mail it (insured and super speedy) to Korea. -) Crazy, huh?
I still haven't bought my plane ticket yet. I'm going to double check with my contact over there to find out what date would be best.
Wish me luck for the next few days. It's all coming down to the wire.
