I...love them equally in different ways. It's weird. I adore David's portrayal of Ten, but there was just something about Chris's Nine that was so moving and raw.
Nine is and always will be my Doctor, but I really love Ten too. :P
And Rose and Donna are just the best companions ever. IMO. :P
Yeah, her relationship with Nine was excellent. I forgot that you weren't a huge Rose fan. :P I've probably said it before, but I don't really mind the fact that Rose became clingy and needy with Ten, because I think that's how she would really react. I mean, the man that she gave up her entire life for died in front of her, I think that I'd be a bit clingy with his replacement too. She was a real character to me. Sometimes I think people forget that she was just nineteen when she met the Doctor, she's so young and she's just reacting how anyone else would.
:P Not that I'm trying to change your opinion. I just really love talking about Rose. :P
I was interested in seeing your reaction to "Journey's End" - I have to admit I was surprised at how many people were upset. American TV rarely works out so nicely for couples, even in scifi ("Farscape", anyone?), that I thought people would be jumping for joy. They get DT as the Doctor for more seasons while the Doctor lives out his dream with Rose. If anyone, I felt bad for Donna

I still can't figure out how to feel about Rose and the Doctor. The one thing I know for sure is that I'm upset with Brown!Doctor for not saying goodbye. But yeah, you're definitely right, we rarely get happy endings for our couples, so this was pretty darn close. But I hate what happened to Donna. Hate it

I know! I'm so glad, SO glad she's alive and not dead, but it stinks for her. I just hope there's a way she could return, despite all the pronouncements that she'll die if she remembers the Doctor and it reactivates her Time Lord half.
I remember just seeing pictures of them and thinking that they didn't really work together
Eccleston doesn't seem to work visually with anyone, poor guy, lol. But what I meant wasn't physically but in dress and style. They gave Nine and Rose a very working class look. Rose even wears sneakers with Velcro.
Ten was basically made for Rose. There was, apparently, a scene that was cut from "Christmas Invasion" where the Doctor explained to Rose how she affected his regenerationYeah - I believe DT said that they were planning to say that the Doctor picked up an Estuary accent to match Rose's, like a chick imprinting on a mother hen. (Problem is that when Five became Six, Peri Brown was last voice Five heard and the first Six heard, and when Seven became
