Besides, apart from the new tag system and new comms, there's honestly really little changed. Replying to dudes is the same. The general basis is the same. As a player in a comm-based game, you will hardly notice the difference after the change is done, and things will be plenty more organized.
So just... give it a chance, at least. Then determine whether or not you don't like it.
Of course! They'll be around, just not in active use (much like the former capslock comm). That way you can still link to old things and look up details or references if you need to.

I used to be in a large journal based comm, with 500+ members. It was...quite frankly a pain, I don't know how they did it.
If we plan on advertising our game, we could show it off with how nice it looks and how organized it is with these changes.
