Just got back from a run and am feeling...well, great underneath it all.  At the moment sore and wondering why I ever ran at all.  Ever.  But I gotta get hot, so stay with it I must.  Hair and nails appointment with Mommy in the morning, and possibly a pedicure in the afternoon.  We'll see.  (God, I sound like such a girl!!!

Drove out to look at the stars tonight.  They were beautiful.  We drove away from the city so the light pollution wasn't as bad.  It's amazing what a simple act such as looking at the stars can do to make one feel at peace.

I also went to the beach today.  It was glorious.  And to IHOP.  Which was delicious ;)

Hawaii was completely the right idea. Totally. Without a shadow of a doubt. =)

So yesterday Ryan rented us scooters.  Holy crap...there were just about the scariest things ever.  I drive them like I drive cars, and then we drive them on the streets, with other cars....I can't believe I wasn't hit.  We left the lot with me almost ending up under another car (had traffic been coming I would have been dead most assuredly).  ( Read more... )

Hawaii fuckin rocks.

Safe and sound in Hawaii.  Two hour delay at the terminal (after we were all in the plane of course) due to one of the transoceanic radios being out (unless you asked the blonde in the seat in front of me.  She took this information and somehow spun it into us needing to wait for a new plane for us to switch to because we were missing a part. Today I got some new meds per Moms orders, and they seem to be working a little better.  I'm still not anywhere near healthy (I am so pale my lips are startlingly red) but I'm eating.  As soon as I can figure out how to rehydrate, I think I'll be set.
