My blood pressure doesn't want to behave! ...
So the girls at work have convinced me to go see a cardiologist because of my high blood pressures at work. 158/108. 157/97. Plus, I have an extensive cardiac family history. I wasn't stressed today at work either. I'd rather be safe than sorry. .. -
First true mistake as charge nurse... *tear*
I made a mistake a work, which wasn't a big deal ( or so I thought ). I was charge nurse, which means I assign patients and watch over all the patients on our unit, and pay special attention to the ones whose conditions look like they're worsening. I have been inspired. Heather wrote a LJ entry about me. She was able to see me and get to know me more through the journal entries I've written over the past 6 years. Hurt is such a small word... yet a very strong feeling
I hurt more knowing that I have hurt someone so much...
This person I hurt seems to want me completely out of his life, even though I still want him in mine...

Long needed update
Christmas is right around the corner. Only 12 more days... Wow, how time flies.
2006 was, without a doubt, the roughest year of them all. It, of course, all started when my mom passed away in May. Since then, I have thought about her quite often. Sometimes it's wonderful to just sit back and remember all the good times while they lasted. ( Read more... ) -
