ATTENTION C-N STUDENTS:

Jul 13, 2006 21:13

I have decided what I can do. I am starting an environmental group @ C-N. It's very sketchy right now, as in all I know is that I'm club president and I think I have someone who cares enough to be my vice, but that's it ( Read more... )

jamie, i love you. power to you. (this could become a big investment, but i hope help finds its way to you, so it can carry on after you leave, too.) there isn't an enviro group at C-N?? hmm. well thanks for your leadership! and remember, that sometimes even when a project isn't "successful" in taking off, it has made invisible progress, making it easier for the next time. (sometimes our efforst are the "martyrs" that make the next efforts more possible.) not to say that you are doomed--i wish you the best!--but when i remember that, i worry less about the immediate results and work better towards the goal. lemme know how it goes, how i can help. (at least with ideas, or passing on links i hear of. you got hooked up with mjs okay?)

see you after korea! AGH!

I want to see you in physical person after Korea! I'm excited for you and I wanna know all about it!!!

Yeah, I'm stoked. A senior that's a AO missionary with me this summer is really interested in helping me out, and I think he'll be what I need to get it off the ground okay. There was a branch of the Sierra Club @ C-N a few years ago, pero esta muerto ahora. Yeah, I think with what I want to accomplish, even if I flop it's okay. I'll keep fighting! Thanks for your faith, encouragement, and love.

Yes Jaime I think this is perfect! I would be very interested in helping you. Not enough of our fellow college students care anything about the world around them.

Yep. I'm excited. I'm still trying to get my brain together. I'll post stuff that's going on. U wanna like, be an officer involved? Or just join the club? I'm thinking about having like a 'council' or something...where there's more than just 'president' 'vice-president'...etc.

What level of involvement are you wanting?

I would love to be involved. Level of involvement will depend on when you are planning on meeting and such. I don't want to commit to and then not be able to be involved because of scheduling conflicts.
I would love to be heavily ionvolved, because it is something I feel strongly about. I also don't want to let you down.
I am honored you asked me.

p.s. Sorry about spelling your name wrong, in my last post.

All of that stuff is up in the air at this point. Meetings would probably be flexible based on when people that wanted to come could come. I will be working...most likely meetings will be sometime on monday or tuesday since I have class both nights and therefore could never work. Also meetings would not have to require my presence if someone else wanted to lead them, or needed to get something done and my schedule didn't fit ( ... )
