ATTENTION C-N STUDENTS:

I have decided what I can do. I am starting an environmental group @ C-N. It's very sketchy right now, as in all I know is that I'm club president and I think I have someone who cares enough to be my vice, but that's it ( Read more... )

All of that stuff is up in the air at this point. Meetings would probably be flexible based on when people that wanted to come could come. I will be working...most likely meetings will be sometime on monday or tuesday since I have class both nights and therefore could never work. Also meetings would not have to require my presence if someone else wanted to lead them, or needed to get something done and my schedule didn't fit.

I'd really love you to be involved. I think it'd be so flexible that you'd be able to commit...i'm uncertain about official 'officers' yet, because I kind of don't want to do that structure but maybe we should? I'd love your input there...I don't even know what officers there should be...

*goes to check handy dandy Spanish club folder*

Okay, the charter thing says there's president, vice, secretary and treasurer. And there's also several blank spots, so we could create a few others too. I'm in favor of creating things appropriate to our mission...

Oh please please please be involved?!?!? Okay, not if you don't want to but I know you want to...*smiles* What do you think about the whole officer thing? Is there one you'd want to be? The only other committed person is Lance Stewart, and I haven't asked him if he's got the commitment level to be vice president...I know he's VERY interested in holding an office, so by default I'd probably give him that one. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Sounds like a plan. What is your class Tuesday night? I have a class Tuesday nights too. We will need to make sure we set regular meetings and make sure communication lines are clear.

I would love to be involved. Yes I will be an officer, no preferences as to what. I don't know Lance Stewart I don't believe.

We will need to rough out with the main people in advance what duties and jobs and meeting formation and share our information with each other early on before we get too far into the semester and so we can get members.

If you still have it, I'm taking Family violence. I know you mentioned before you were taking it...I was under the assumption we were still in it together.

If u check your c-n email, you probably saw a forwarded email about the spanish club, talking about how anyone interested should contact me...I'm going to do the same thing with the env. club this week. Get a list of people, and a few that want to be officers, etc. and go from there.

we'll see where it goes. I'm excited!

I thought so, but my mind is a bit like swiss cheese so I forget details, especially if I don't write it down. :)

I will check my CN e-mail. You could also do the same on Facebook or some such.

Excitement is giood, don't let it wane...or get the better of you.
