Sunday, February 6th
"We're going on a bo-at! We're going on a bo-at!" Thanks to Kelly Light, who posted a link to Wackiki Wabbit on FaceBook on Friday, this is the only thing John and I have been able to say all morning. We watched it on his Droid after I got out of the shower, and kept singing it randomly all morning until we finally got ON the ( Read more... )

Seeing Andy do "I Love You" is pretty much worth the trip for me. I think if he'd stayed in the band, I'd have trouble choosing between him and Ed. LOL

Re-listening to the shows from V, Ed didn't do too shabby a job on the scatting, either, I must say. ;)

Now that Andy lost his glasses in Cozumel... well... let me say that I vote for Lasix. LOL!

Murray licking Sean and Celtic Porn probably would have been the only things that could have lured me away from the Super Bowl. :D

After lunch, I think we went off to find our cabin (which would elude me throughout the trip... I never did get the hang of the Dawn!)

I had the same problem. After using the fish for reference on the Jewel, having a bunch of symmetrical seahorses on the carpet just messed me up. Seasleepy's inertial navigation system was working at top efficiency though -- she had it figured out after the first trip to the cabin, whereas I was always double checking signs to make sure I was headed the right way...

John seemed to get the hang of it, too. The one time I tried to get back to our cabin on my own to get something (which ended up being in the bag all along *facepalm* ), I took a full tour of Deck 9. *sigh*

Aren't interior cabins bizarrely dark? We had that for S&DV and it was so strange to never have a frame of reference for what time of day it was. I gotta stick with at least a port-hole now - although the mini-suite we had this time was really easy to get used to as well :)

And I never did figure out the last boat and only had minor challenges this time. Once I got into the habit of going to the room the same way I was good. It wasn't until Wed that I realized it wasn't odd #'s on one side and even on the other like I remember some past boat!

We could see light in the hallway via a gap in the door. That was it. Ugh. Of course, every morning housekeeping put the ice cooler out in the hallway across from our door, so that was our "time awareness" device, coupled with multiple accented "Good Mornings" for, like, two hours. LOL!

*click clack* Setting up the stand
*ice shuffle inside plastic container* That must be the cooler
"Good morning..." "GOOD morning..." "Good Morrrrning..."

Must be 7:30am.

Oh no, yikes, no good :( 7:30? Eeek! I just remember last time waking up worried I'd slept in and panicking to pull out my iPod to turn it on so it'd light up and I could read it. I never once did but I always thought I would!

Of course this year we had light and I *did* sleep in - thought I set my alarm for 9am but either it didn't go off or I slept through it. Thankfully I woke up at 9:35 and had 25 min to throw on a bathing suit to meet up with people at 10am for Costa Maya! Thank goodness for beach days - far less prep ;)

I had a travel clock, and we always set the alarm, just in case -- even if we took a short nap during the day (something I'd never do pre-pregnant, but it had to be done). Of course, I also woke up like 2-3 times every night (I always wake up at least once at home), so...
