Holy crap! What's up with weird health crap lately? I had a full body, horridly itchy rash a week ago and never ended up finding out what it was. I ended up on prednisone because the pharmacy assumed it was allergies, although my regular doctor later thought it might have been a latent virus that never got taken care of when I was sick around Thanksgiving. Girl, I hope yours goes away! Itch is the most miserable of miserable things :(

The ER doc put me on prednisone and it helped tone down the itching a bit, but when it was gone, I bounced right back to Super Itch. I seriously thought, "If life is gonna be this itchy forever, maybe I'll have to rethink life." Sheesh.

I hope your rash is all gone now!

Oh, it is! I've got a stupid cold that won't go away, but it's much better than the horrid itching, that's for sure!

I get eczema sometimes, with extreme stress, and aveeno eczema lotion is pretty amazing for it

I'm so glad you mentioned stress, because none of the doctors have, but I believe it does make it worse! I went through a month's worth of prescription moisturizer in the first week (more is better, right??), so I'm using over the counter Cetaphil cream, it's wonderful. I'll have to look for the Aveeno eczema lotion, because I have used and liked others of their products. Thank you for suggesting it!

Do try it, and stress is a huge trigger for this kind of thing. My last attack was in conjunction with a foot infection and right before Acendio, and thankfully it cleared up in time for the con, but the itching and rashes were painful.

If your skin is soaking up moisturizer like that, it well may be eczema.

Oh, that cracked me up - I've got four new guys on my team right now who would probably LOVE TO DO THAT!

*hugs you*

Ugh, itching! I hate itching. My sympathies. I hope it gets better quickly.

Yay for Christmas and family stuff. Poor Beetle, hopefully the cereal will make a difference. Mum always said it did.

And mums know about such things! I know my firstborn never touched a solid (if he could spit it out fast enough) until I gave him cereal.

TY, Gels!
