Try taking a Vitamin E capsule every couple of days. I also use Amlactin body lotion, available at Costco; you apply it within five minutes of getting out of the shower (when your skin has some moisture from the shower water). My sister is office manager of a pediatrics practice and that's the lotion she recommends. The Vitamin E and Amlactin are what helped me with my own dry skin. *HUGS*

i feel your pain i just found out the name of my ailment everybody in my family lost it when i told them( "ive got chub rub")! i never knew lol it had a name, i found this stuff called "secret shield" so far so good dont have the "thighs of fire" i'll give it another week. that cookie baking stuff sounds good! huggs

Dry, itchy skin is awful. You've got some good advice here, but let me add one more: drink lots of water. I know, especially during the winter, when I haven't been drinking enough water because my skin goes much dryer and itchier than it has to. Baby bath oil is good, if you ever take a bath rather than showering - if you can get it, the Weleda brand baby bath oil is superb.
