Um, it's always been a hard subject to broach when it comes to anything relating to color. Be that brown (my best friend happens to be Filippino) or darker. I have family that is Mexican though marriage and I love him to pieces.

My life has been in the real world, more so than you might think. Maybe not in terms of racism but I have been in the real world of those looked down upon due to friends being brought up in what you might call "white trash" neighborhoods, lack of education and such.

I'm not white but more of a pink or a purple when it's cold.

OMG! I'm a speshul white-trash (pink-trash?) snowflake who was raised in teh GHETTO so I must know what it's like to be oppressed. That's just like being black, right? Right? It doesn't matter if you're white or purple or polka dotted, because some of my best friends are black...I mean brown.
