The Incredible Hulk - Movie Review

Jun 13, 2008 07:02

I don't know if I've mentioned it before but my husband is a huge comic book collector. We have over 50 of the long boxes in our basement. Seriously, I could open a used comic book shop. How many are mine - well I brought 2 of those boxes into the marriage. So yeah, I'm a comic book fan too.

In case any of this could be considered spoilers )

recs, ironman, movies

You've managed to get me excited about the movie and i still have to wait until it's out on DVD. Ironman too.

If you only have money, time etc. for one than Ironman is it! Best movie I've seen in years. On my superhero movie list it's right behind X2 and just ahead of Batman Begins

I'm taking myself off to see Iron Man tomorrow at 11am (it's cheaper) on my own. OH is away and wouldn't be interested even if he wasn't. I did the same thing when the Star Wars re-runs were on, down to borrowing someone's child so I could get into the kids screening!

Not sure if I'll bother with The Hulk as I was never really a fan, but I'm really looking forward to Iron man. And then when I come back I'm going to read all of Ith's crossovers.

If you are not a fan of the Hulk than I wouldn't bother with the movie.

Ironman is a must see. It's just a great flick.

Yes definitely read Ith's stuff she writes a great Tony!

I was told that most of the cameo was in the TV ads currently running, so I caught it on YouTube. It was very cool! Though I don't think we'll go see the movie. But a third trip to Iron Man is on the books!

Yep it was pretty short but ended the movie on a high note for me. Seriously I would have rather seen Ironman again than Hulk not that is wasn't good but I need more Tony! I agree a thrid round may be required.

You know... I don't think I knew you were a comics fan!

I've been pondering something crazy... and trying to talk myself out of it... but do you think anyone would be interested in doing a Marvel Movie Crossover Ficathon?

See? Nuts. I should just finish what's on my plate and write my own, but... but... it sounds like fun... *whimpers*

Well, I've never even conteplated writing Comics characters (and Buffy doesn't count).

I'd put out feelers on some of those Comics newsletters we track - heck there may already be one out there.

Comics was one of the things that brought me and hubby together - the other being Stargate SG_1 specifically, but Scifi in general. Yep We're Geeks

They are really doing a great job now that they are in charge of their own destinies.
