Something for Nothing

Got free tickets to see the Green Hornet tonight at the critics preview. I expected that it would be awful given the postponements and then being dumped in January but, much to my surprise, I really enjoyed it. It's not a great superhero movie like say... Ironman or The Dark Knight, but it was funny and had some good bits ( Read more... )

Freeeeeee. Ugh. I wish I could see it with free tickets. I'm gonna see the non-3D version on Friday morning at 10:45, when AMC has it for $6; otherwise I'd be paying $12.

In the meantime, I'm watching the original series from the 60's. I found it all on youtube if you're interested. X3

I've never seen the original. Might have to check it out.

We often go to the early morning AMC shows because they are so cheap - $5 here.

I made a playlist containing all the episode parts. :3 http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=87561B0B6865CA81

I could wait for it to get to the local $2 theater, but for some reason, my desire to see it is far too strong to wait. Which is really unusual.

Cool. I will give it a look.

The bargain theaters are all kind of disgusting. If I don't see something in the nice theaters i just wait for Netflicks

I love westerns but then the commute to Boston is just a little far for a movie. True Grit was very good.

Make a snow angel for me :D

Actually, where I live, we had only at 3 inches of snow. We were predicted for more, but I was that it didn't.

And for once, the interstate was clear. That hardly happens.

We got just enough to make it pretty but not so much that it was too dangerous to drive.

Ugh, I don't have stereo vision, so if 3D becomes the way of the future, I'm basically screwed. All I get from the glasses is a throbbing headache.

I want snow! It's like a sauna right now where we are, the windows are all fogged up with the humidity. The rain is warm. I hate warm rain.

I don't think it will. Most people I know don't seem to like it either. I really found the glasses so distracting.

We've had a pleasant amount of snow - but I'm ready for it to be warm again

I can't watch 3D movies. The glasses never work over my glasses so I never get the feeling something is jumping out at me. Man, I hope this trend ends soon.

But I really want to see The Green Hornet.

Exactly. also they seemed like sunglasses and made the movie darker. Luckily the theaters near me always seem to have a choice and I choose no 3D
