I think it's because many wardens here understand what it is to have their faith broken, and therefore they can identify with it rather than coming in with a cynical view of the world and only having it verified. That hers was more accident that she panicked over, rather than a calculated strike. That she wished to stop it and spoke unreasonably.

I also think you helped change people's opinions on the state of aftermath, and made them consider it more.

All I know is in any case I disapprove. Speculation is dangerous any more.

Not a single thing you've just said makes me feel anything but disgust for this system, Doctor. You've only confirmed what I've known: wardens are quick to protect their own, and they're awarded more understanding than us, the inmates, the people they're supposed to try and understand.

So she benefits from my suffering. That's convenient.

People are quick to protect those that have been kind to them. If you recall, a good deal of people did turn on her when she insulted and belittled them. And someone did stab her significant other to get to her, no one killed your snakes to get you. It's only a day after. You don't know what the fall-out will be.

What I do know is you're looking for reasons for hate and resentment. Which is a shame, because you took care of a lot of people this weekend. It's an abhorrent, thankless job sometimes and the only time you do receive compensation for you good faith is when you break like she did. When there are people there willing to defend you after you helped them.

My arm still hurts. I'm not in the best of moods myself.

However kind I once was wasn't enough to stop people from turning on me the instant somebody threw an accusation at me. Before the nanomites, I mean.

He was directly guarding her and in the way. Somebody killed Shego to get to me for the same reason. My snakes were offered up as revenge AFTER I'd been imprisoned. And the fallout is always the worst directly after the fact. At this rate, we'll be throwing a parade in her honor in a week.
