Finally have joined the company of writers who've been plagiarized. I was alerted by a review on ff.net -- screencap of review here.

My plagiarized story is The Way It Is. You can find the ff.net version of the original here. The culprit is hooloovoo_too, and you can find her version of my story both on LJ, here, and on ff.net, here.

Hi, just to let you know I am the mod on the case. I am looking into things and will contact hooloovoo_too.

Thank you for the screen caps, they are a big help.

I'm happy to help -- truthfully it was my flist who sprang into action, and it's mostly their work. Whatever you need, just say. I've tried to get everything.

You should probably know that she appears to have locked down her entire journal. I see from her User Profile that she has 15 entries, but when you click to view her journal, there are no entries to see.

Yeah, I saw that. All I can offer is the screencaps several folks took before she locked things down. She has also deleted the contents of her ff.net profile and all stories she had listed (19 to start).

It all happened pretty quickly on Friday. But if the screencaps will help they're all yours.

Looks like everything has been taken down. Should I still add her to our FFN account?

I don't know if this question was for me -- sorry, don't mean to ignore it if so, just couldn't tell. Just in case -- I suspect we won't see this username again -- if she pops up later it'll be by another name, so I dunno how much good it will ultimately do? And at least one person on my flist filed a plagiarism complaint on ff.net, fwiw.

Might already know this, but seems she's locked down her IJ and JF, however google does show some of the entries in her IJ

Just a general google search will show a few other links as well apparently she's posted to several communities and "asylums" I'm not sure but she doesn't seem to be very minor in the fandom, I saw and entry that referenced her. She seems to participate in the Ouran fandom quite a bit. I have to at least give it to her she's smart (as much as a plagiarist can be), to lock down all journals and on the communities she linked back to her journal (but possibly not on the asylums) Good luck, since everything is locked down makes me think this isn't the first instance.
