[ Shiro managed to stray from his normal routine this afternoon... he'd nearly passed this place, but he hadn't seen a tea shop around. Intrigued, he pushed the door open to walk inside. It seemed a little slow, but he wasn't going to let that sent him away. Smiling, he approached the counter. ]

Yo! How are things going this afternoon?

[Polly looks up as the door opens. Grinning, she sets the book aside and hops down from her perch.]

Things are great! How are you, today?

Pretty good! However, I could use a break...

Then, please have a seat! I'll get you a menu!

[She moves to pull one out from behind the counter.]

[Present for work as usual, Raidou appears more like a stoic bouncer in the tea shop than anything, watching business as usual from behind the counter. He really didn't understand what it meant to be an Assistant Manager so he did odd things every now and then such as preparing tea and serving customers. Sometimes he helped prepare snacks or worked the cash register (that took some time).]

[Raidou glances over at Polly. Is it okay to sit on the counters?]

[Feeling eyes on her, Polly returns his glance, then gives a smile. It doesn't occur to her that it might not be alright to sit on counters. She owns these ones, after all.]

You can have some tea, too, if you want.

[Well, Manager's decision in the end really.]

Hm? Oh, thank you Polly-san, but I'm fine.

If you're sure.

[She scoots down off of the counter and sneaks a raspberry almond tart out of the pastry case. Rather than bothering to fetch a saucer from the kitchen, she materializes one and plops the sweet down on it before returning to her seat.]

Do you like working here, so far? [she asks, turning that quizzical, too-bright gaze on him more steadily, this time.]

[News of a new tea shop has finally reached Patchy, despite her usual withdrawl from the world at large. So, therefore, she must take time to try it.]

[And so, in walks the magician, wordlessly, observing the surroundings. Atmosphere seemed a lot different than the alien ones she usually visited, but that was by no means a bad thing. It was quaint.]

[Polly perks up, as she catches sight of the new customer, hopping down off of the counter and moving over to the bar.]

Hi, welcome to 4tea2! How can I help you?

A menu, if you would. This place has only come to my attention recently, so I was compelled to inspect it.

[Yep. Right to the point. She takes a seat at one of the smaller tables nearby.]

[Nodding readily, Polly comes out from behind the counter and presents Patchy with what she'd requested. The magician will find that it lists a truly vast variety of tea, several different sorts of pastries, and even a small selection of delicate sandwiches.]

If there's anything you'd like that isn't on the menu, I'd be happy to make it for you as a special order. I might need to borrow a memory, though, if it's something I don't know.

[wanders in, looking a bit befuddled]

Ah, excuse me... is this an accountants' hang-out, or a tea shop?

[Polly blinks at him, slipping down from her perch.]

Accountants...? Oh! No, it's a tea shop! Would you like some tea? We have all kinds!

[bows politely]

Ah, I would, thank you... I am sorry for the confusion. I did not mean to slander your establishment in anyway, Shopkeep-dono.

[After a moment, she bows in return and gives him a cheerful (if somewhat uncertain) smile.]

It's no trouble! We haven't been here very long. I think it was a sandwich shop, before--maybe accountants did hang out there.

[She motions to the wall behind her, which contains shelves upon shelves of labeled jars, each containing a different kind of tea.]

What kind would you like?

[Always a fan of tea shops, Shiemi is excited when she spots one she hasn't seen before. She drops in after finishing classes one day, stopping at the counter to look up at all the tea displayed on the shelves.]

Oh my, there's so many to choose from.

[Polly, who'd been out among the seats cleaning up a recently-vacated table, walks up behind the girl, smiling proudly up at the shelves.]

There are, aren't there? There are even some I haven't tried, yet!
