RP: Dining with Wolves

Rabastan was not sure what to expect from his meeting and dinner this evening with Remus Lupin. The Deputy Headmaster's letter said he was looking for an informal meeting. Rabastan took him at his word. Dressed in linen trousers and an untucked royal blue button down with the sleeves rolled up, Rabastan barely resembled the immaculately robed, formal, old family patriarch that visited Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin more than a month ago.
His father would be turning in his grave if he knew his son was meeting a representative of his beloved Hogwarts -- for Rabastan knew that called Hogwarts or not that was what was being replaced here in Stoatshead Hill -- in shirt sleeves, and rolled up ones at that. But frankly, Rabastan was tired of playing the role of his father. He was not Maurice Lestrange. Times were changing and perhaps it was time he put away his father's directives for how the Lestrange heir was to look and act when among other Europeans. His friends certainly didn't seem to mind his more natural state of being and if it bothered those who were not his friends, perhaps it did not matter as much as he had always thought.
He opened the wine to allow it to breathe and finished setting the round table in the study. He checked the food in the kitchen and sat down at his desk to review sketches for the replacement of the addition in back of the church until Remus J. Lupin arrived.
