Whew. Hot day today, but managed to get going on the exhibit renovation. Took the macaws out, removed all of their old perching, cleaned the hell outta everything and then painted. I am now a lovely shade of "Spruce Green" to match their exhibit. Tomorrow I will have to haul out about 500 -750 pounds of sand by hand-- bucket by bucket, and then ( Read more... )

I love Bill Paxton! Ever since he was in Aliens. "Game over, dude! Game over!"

He's also the only actor to be killed by the terminator, an alien, and a predator. Kinda cool.

I'm not sure what, but something has always completely creeped me out about him. At a friends house I was sujected to an episode of Big Love. During a love scene that involved waaayyy too much screen time for Bill P.'s bellybutton I had to leave the room.
