Tired
Whew. Hot day today, but managed to get going on the exhibit renovation. Took the macaws out, removed all of their old perching, cleaned the hell outta everything and then painted. I am now a lovely shade of "Spruce Green" to match their exhibit. Tomorrow I will have to haul out about 500 -750 pounds of sand by hand-- bucket by bucket, and then replace it with new sand. Then I'm off to chop down a dead tree to get perching off of it, install the perching and Voila! New exhibit. **sigh** I hope to be done by Weds.
Watched "The Good Shepard" last night. Enjoyed it quite a bit, but it was long. I've netflixed the first season of HBO's "Big Love", and I'm going to start watching those tonight. Off to the park with the boys first. We saw a deer at the park this morning-- it was very exciting! Leo let out a little woof. Max has eaten something stinky today and I refuse to let him give me puppy kisses because his breath STINKS!!
