Holy Guano Batman!
Went to see "The Dark Knight" last night... Yowza! That was a movie that I TOTALLY did not mind paying full price for! Excellent in almost all aspects! Heath ledger gave a memorable performance, everyone was great. I even tolerated Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent. Last night I was watching a program on PBS about elk hunting in Yellowstone. (I don't know why, other than there was nothing else on, and it was narrated by Chris Cooper, who has a pleasant voice.) Sleep Late Much?
Today is my first whole day off in more than three weeks. (Ok, to be fair, I had the afternoon off last Sunday, but not the whole day.) Got home from work, took the boys out for a run, made some quick dinner. Then I settled down to watch "Death at a Funeral" which I got from Netflix today. Downhome 4th
Had an interesting 4th. One of our keepers that just recently quit was an older lady named Ruth (I think she is around 60.) She was a retired school teacher that has worked at the zoo for the last 5 years in the mammal department. She worked mostly with the elephants.
