Mary Rosalie Armes Hogg, age 82, passed away on April 15, 2008 after an eight month illness. Mary was born in State College, Centre County, Pa. on April 15, 1926. Vance Wesley Burtner, 83, of Rockdale Road died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

Born June 24, 1924, in Butler, he was the son of Forest H. and Lena Giles Burtner.

He was a self-employed farmer. He also was a Country Bell director, an Agway director and a Jefferson Township supervisor for 12 years.
