I went to see "Howl's Moving Castle" -- the latest movie from master animator Hayao Miyazaki -- last weekend, and rather enjoyed it. A lot of Miyazaki fans, such as people on the miyazaki mailing list, were disappointed with it. People started reporting this on the nausicaa.net mailing list two days ago, but tonight during Smallville I saw a commercial for the Feb. 22 DVD release of the "Nausicaa" DVD! Looks like the next wave of Ghibli DVDs is coming on Feb 22 after all, according to a press release just posted to Ultimate Disney. The weird part -- Totoro, which was supposed to be in this wave, was replaced by "The Cat Returns". The cheap, extra DVD player I bought from Sarah is now officially hacked to Region Free! Yay! My Ocean Waves DVD plays!
