Today was another productive day on the structure. This time, I added weatherstripping foam between the OSB panels and the framing, and between the panels where they meet at the edges. I added top and bottom weatherstripping to the southeast, south, southwest, and west panels.

Today I did a lot of work on the structure. I finally got the tension bands attached securely to the upper board of the double-top of the southeast wall. The strap instructions recommended lots of nails for maximum tension capacity. I had screws handy, not nails, so I used lots of screws - 14, I think.

I worked on the structure today, and I got so caught up in my work that I almost forgot about an errand I had planned: to return an Amazon package. I went to a UPS shop, and it was very busy, but efficient enough that the line moved quickly. The weather was sunny, so I decided to get some more work done on the structure. I went up the ladders (two, because it's built on a slope) and unscrewed all of the fascia boards, except the one over the door, which I had already taken down. They need a little mold scrubbing, and paint, and I didn't want to deal with those jobs atop a ladder.

The rain returned today, so it wouldn't be a day to work on the structure. All I did when I saw the mist was flip the OSB panel over, placing the fully painted side up and the mostly unfinished side down. I measured the top and bottom widths of the south wall framing, and the locations of the rafters, and marked them onto the panel. This morning when our usual favorite device repair place opened, I asked whether they had screen parts for my phone. They did. I made a repair appointment and let the other place know that I wouldn't need them.

Plant risers

I didn't expect the weather to be dry enough to work on the structure, so I did some work on the plant risers, drilling holes that I'll use for doweling.

It looked like I had a chance to get some work done on the structure without rain, so I went ahead with it.
I re-measured the top and bottom width of the southeast exterior frame of the structure, and marked the OSB panel with the widths. It's good that I measured again, because I did it wrong when I started on it before. The cuts went smoothly.
