This morning "J" got up very early to go care for her P-Patch before the weather got too warm. She got a lot more done on it this morning, by herself, than she does when I'm there with her, trying to help.

Today I mostly worked on research for a craft project. I think I'm getting to the point of diminishing returns.
I also ordered two Humble Bundles:
  • An anthology of 36 graphic novels by Mike Mignola in his "B.P.R.D." setting, better known as the Hellboy world.

This morning I took "T" to his usual Saturday morning karate group class. He had fun, but missed his favorite sensei, who usually teaches on Saturday mornings.
Update (May): the long-lost sensei returned on May 13.

"J" and I took "T" to school this morning. There was meeting there, and J was volunteering.

This morning "T" and I had a wasted tried: I drove him to a group martial arts class, and found a sign on the door along the lines of, "Employee appreciation day: the dojo is closed on February 4." Oops #1.

Today was another productive day on the structure. This time, I added weatherstripping foam between the OSB panels and the framing, and between the panels where they meet at the edges. I added top and bottom weatherstripping to the southeast, south, southwest, and west panels.

Ten years ago today, "J" and I were married, on the grounds of a seaside hotel in Maine. We're back at the same hotel for our anniversary. The place hasn't changed much, but the weather was nicer back then.

Ten years ago today, "J" and I met, by the chance good fortune of sitting in our favorite spot at the Egyptian theater: back row of the front section, middle seats. We both liked the film, the film Hipsters, too. It's been a great ten years.

This afternoon, "J" and I made a lentil soup together. She ran the show, and I sliced the carrots, celery, and red peppers. She sliced half an onion, measured out some minced garlic in oil, added spices, and of course the lentils, and put it all into the Instant Pot. It was delicious.

Much of today was an errand day for me. One errand was a visit to a post office. Because "T" had the day off from school, he came along for the ride. The postal worker saw him, and apparently had some free time, and offered T a brief tour behind the scenes. T enjoyed it.
